Hostal Central Barcelona is located in a classic Catalan modernist building, dating back to the late 19th century. We’ve preserved it’s original handmade ceilings, interior details, beautifully decorated balconies, and the stunning stained glass bay window on the main floor. These modernist touches allow you to experience the charm of a noble home in Barcelona.
While we have renovated the hostal to provide you with modern comforts – such as en suite bathrooms, air conditioning, and more – we’ve carefully retained it’s authentic, historic character.

We are located in the most central district of Barcelona “Eixample”. Our location is perfect to visit the city, as all of the main tourist attractions and historic buildings are within walking distance. In only 10 minutes, you will arrive at La Sagrada Familia, Casa Batlló, Casa Mila/La Pedrera, and Arc de Triomf. We are well connected by the public transport, with metro lines L2 (purple), L4 (yellow) and many bus stops nearby.
